Send summer off with a creative Date Night designed for couples, girl’s night out, or a parent/grandparent-child duo. As part of this downtown Noblesville art crawl, Kaleidoscope Krossing will be hosting a variety of art projects using alcohol inks and the zentangle drawing technique. This fun and creative medium will surprise you as you experiment and explore different possibilities. This workshop will give you a sneak peek into the upcoming Zentangles  101 class on August 30 and 31st. Couples will have a great time creating partnered artwork or individual pieces to take home. You can choose from a number of project options as part of this Date Night duo. Samples are shown below.

Local artists will also have artwork on display available for purchase.

  • Award-winning napkin artist and architect, Tony Costello, FAIA, has created a special series of cocktail napkin sketches of iconic, historic buildings in Noblesville…including many on the courthouse square.
  • Maria Canfield, local artist and founder of Bubbly Bean Creations, will also be exhibiting her work. Her artwork includes unique, black-and-white pieces along with her humorous animal paintings.
  • Card designers Susie Fintz, Phyllis Winter and Beth Wood will all be displaying a variety of greeting cards. Kaleidoscope Krossing will be hosting a “Groovy Greeting Card Workshop” from 10-3 on September 8th where you can learn how to make each of these distinct cards.
  • Finally, there is a fun photo compositioning exhibit on-site for your enjoyment. Youth ages 9-12 participated in a three-day summer workshop which resulted in this imaginative photo display. Be sure to come check it out!
